Actors and Puppeteers
Current Opening

Mesner Puppet Theater seeks professional actors and puppeteers to perform in our premiere of “In the Workshop-Live” at the Midwest Trust Center in May 2022.
We are currently looking for:
5 roles for Non equity performers of any gender, age, or race with a passion for performing for young people. 3 roles for storyteller/actors and 2 roles for puppeteers.
About the Show:
Nico, Zora, and Langston are all members of an eclectic artist workshop. They are renovating their workshop, and have invited the audience to take a sneak peek inside before it’s opened to the general public. But when conflict among the characters causes quite the catastrophe, it’s up to the audience to work with the cast of characters to help solve the problem. Through the course of this hour-plus, outside-the-box theater experience, ensemble members might find themselves manipulating puppets, facilitating theater games, improvising, singing, and transitioning audience members from area to area. Think of this as part actor, and part teaching artist!
Prior to the audition we will send you more information on what to prepare.
