Zoom Teaching Artist - Contractor

HOW TO APPLY:

Fill out application, open through February 25, 2021. Interviews for selected applicants will be held the week of March 1st.

Mesner Puppet Theater (MPT) is seeking teaching artists with experience facilitating K-2nd grade arts integration lessons, and who are comfortable facilitating via zoom. The contractor will work under the guidance of the Director of Education and will collaborate on logistics with our “In the Workshop” Program Coordinator.

This role can be performed virtually, so applicants do not need to reside in the Kansas City area. While puppetry experience is preferred, having a strong arts integration and facilitation experience is more important.

About “In the Workshop” Virtual Residency:

"In The Workshop" is a social-emotional learning supplement for educators of elementary students. The program empowers educators to teach social-emotional learning through art, storytelling, and puppetry. Teachers receive the below:

Teaching artists selected will facilitate 30 minute zoom lessons with multiple K-2nd classrooms.
